What's on in Kildare International this Spring

This Spring is an exciting time for Kildare International with lots going with SJI Shows, Riding Club and Pony Club Shows and Pony Camp.

Our season kicks off with the opening leg of the Chippison Spring Tour on February 13th with classes from 90cms to 1.35m Grand Prix on a one day show.  All the best rider are again expected to grace the Rathmore turf with the likes of Edward Doyle, John Floody, Trevor Breen and the Army expected to be taking part.  This is a day not to be missed for spectators and competitors with great Show Jumping taking place all day.

Along with the Chippison Spring Tour, there will also be a 5 week League being run in the spectacular Outdoor Arena starting on March 23rd.  From 90cms to 1.30m each week with an overall League prize fund being divided on the Final Day on April 20th taking in each Wednesday in between.  Also on the Final Day there will be a special 1.40m Class which can be used as a warm up class for the upcoming Premier Series Grand Prix League which starts the following Sunday at the Louth County Show.

Pony Camp for 2011 kicks off at the ususal time with one week taking place during the Mid Term Break from school.  This will then be followed by 2 Easter Pony Camps which will start straight after Easter Sunday.

While on Easter Sunder, the now very popular Riding Schools Challenge will take place.  Won last year by one of the home teams in Kildare International, this Riding Schools Challenge has now proved to be an extremely popular event in the Riding School's calendar.

All in all, this Spring is going to be a very exciting time at Kildare International and we hope to see at some stage during the Spring.
